Coronavirus (COVID-19) Office Closure
From Monday 16th March, 5pm the ESSRecruit office will be closed, however we will remain open for business through remote working.
As a business ESSRecruit is advising clients, candidates and suppliers on its planning for handling the escalating COVID-19 situation above and beyond our standard procedures. Currently it has no instances of self-isolation and is confident that its sites remain safe for staff.
It is however taking precautionary measures to ensure the protection of its staff and the Directors in consultation with staff have decided to close the office locations from Monday 16th March at 5pm.
ESSRecruit will remain open for business.
ESSRecruit utilises Cloud based business and phone systems and has robust continuity plans in place. These measures mean that although all staff have been instructed to work from home until further notice, normal business operations will continue. This minor adaptation will allow it to maintain service levels for all our clients, candidates and suppliers.
These include.
• Real time, HD video interview tools
• Cloud based Microsoft 365 on mobile Microsoft Surface devices
• Closed video facilities for internal meetings
• Internal instant messaging
• Cloud based “softphone” landlines
• Cloud based CRM, HR and Finance tools
In addition to this, today we have reviewed and updated our Health & Safety policies as well as issuing staff guidance for remaining healthy during this worrying time.
All non-essential travel has been cancelled as have inter-site, client and candidate face to face meetings.
As members of The Recruitment Employers Confederation we are constantly appraised of industry best practice to monitor and prevent the spread of Coronavirus COVID-19. It will continue to make necessary changes as advised.
