A graduate of Edinburgh Napier University, Craig has clocked up more than 20 years in the recruitment industry, specialising in client relationship management. As co-owner of ESS Recruit, he is one of the backbones of the business and leads its customer service and innovation strategy. Having spent more than 12 years working in the manufacturing sector, he knows first-hand what it takes to make a great planning manager and sales manager in Europe. With his entrepreneurial spirit and extensive start-up expertise, Craig is no stranger to working in partnership with investors, entrepreneurs and small to medium-sized business owners. He is also a trusted advisor to the wider investment, public sector and trade partner communities, an active supporter of the Scottish start-up community, and works closely with colleges and universities.

Sara is ESS Recruit’s water, energy and construction specialist, whose expertise lies in contract recruitment. An award-winning recruiter, she has launched and grown several energy divisions, and later diversified into renewables, petrochemicals, nuclear and oil and gas. She has since grown a solid contract network within energy and water and is passionate about ethical recruitment – making sure contract workers are paid fairly and on time. Thanks to her strong, ethical recruitment values and belief in transparency, she has developed strong business relationships with both local SMEs and larger organisations with a global reach.

Bruce is a UK semi-conductor, optoelectronics, electronics and heavy engineering sectors specialist. A University of Strathclyde graduate, he has been at the forefront of launching and leading various specialist recruitment divisions, including in manufacturing and technology and renewable energies. He now lends his expertise to the high-tech and life sciences sectors and, having held many high-profile board positions, is also an active skills and acquisition advisor to companies operating in the semi-conductor, optoelectronics and electronics industries. Bruce is an expert in mid to senior level recruitment and focuses on developing key relationships with senior level professionals.
