Well established, they are a high technology equipment supplier into a range of sectors; including, medical devices, electronics, semiconductors and industrial manufacturing. Currently enjoying a period of high growth and demand world wide, they need to make the key hire of a Camera Development Engineer.
The Camera Development Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and optimising cutting-edge CMOS camera systems, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of camera technologies into our clients various products. The Camera Development Engineer will possess a deep understanding of camera technology, image processing algorithms, and a strong background in hardware and software development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Camera System Design: Lead the design and development of advanced CMOS camera systems, including image sensors, optics, and image processing algorithms, to meet project requirements and specifications.
- Hardware and Software Integration: Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate camera systems into the products
- Prototyping and Testing: Develop and implement prototyping plans to evaluate camera performance, conduct rigorous testing, and analyse data
- Image Quality Optimisation: Investigate and improve image quality by analysing factors (noise reduction, dynamic range, and low-light performance).
- Algorithm Development: Develop and optimise image processing algorithms to enhance image quality, achieve real-time performance, and enable innovative camera features.
- Performance Optimisation: Identify and implement performance optimisations to enhance camera system efficiency, reduce power consumption, and improve overall user experience.
- Documentation and Reporting: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports to effectively communicate project progress, findings, and recommendations.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Software Developers, and Product Managers to ensure seamless integration and successful delivery of camera systems.
