Project Engineer
Location – Glenrothes
Salary - £Competitive DoE plus benefits

As they continue to grow their business, they seek a Project Engineer, with a Electrical/Electronic Engineering background, on a permanent basis. Although home/office-based, you will spend significant amount of time “on site” covering multiple projects where required.
In this role you will be responsible for the management of engineering and technical projects within a group wide structure. Reporting directly to the Project Manager/director. This includes management of personnel, budget and scheduling to deliver a successful, fit for purpose project.
As Project Engineer, you will lead the day to day delivery of projects in accordance with programme/project specifications and procedures. Reporting on the financial and progress status. You will manage a team covering all areas of the business including Electrical Design, Control Panel Build, Control systems Engineers, Installation and Commissioning Engineers to ensure satisfactory completion of a project. Build and develop relationships with a wide range of customers, be primary contact for technical and implementation aspects of the project.
Position Requirements
Electrical Engineer degree qualified or equivalent qualifications or experience.

- Control System Designs
- Direct management of team of engineers
- Electrical Engineering
Qualifications
- Electrical Engineer/ Electronic Engineer/ Control Systems Engineer/Mechatronics degree qualified or equivalent experience with recognised Apprenticeship
- 10 Years on site experience
- 5 years proven supervisory experience
- Project Management training
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of - Electrical Systems, Electrical Design and Installations, Control Panel design and build, CompExEX01-04, CompEx EX05-06, 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations, Select 209 & 214 Inspection & Testing (Inc Periodic Insp & Testing) BS7671, Amtech – Predesign Introduction
- Extensive knowledge and experience of all major Control Systems including the following - PLC's: Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, SCADA Packages: Rockwell FactoryTalk, Siemens WinCC, Wonderware Intouch, Drives / Motion: Rockwell, Siemens, Control Techniques
