Based in Livingston, Hyaltech Ltd. (a subsidiary of ZEISS, Medical Technology) is a successful medical device business that has been contributing to the healthcare industry for over 30 years. From the volume manufacturing site in Livingston, the company supplies products to global markets, specialising in both ophthalmic and orthopaedic medical devices.

With support and significant investment from ZEISS, the Livingston site continues to grow and expand, requiring talented individuals to contribute to the company’s continued success and ongoing FDA accreditation journey. They now need to hire a Regulatory Labelling Specialist.
Reporting into the Head of Regulations, the Regulatory Labelling Specialist will manage the artwork design, generation and approval process to ensure that all product labelling is fully compliant with the regulatory requirements of international countries. Key responsibilities include:
An excellent base salary of c£30-35,000 DOE is complemented by a generous benefits package including enhanced company pension and holiday allowance, performance related bonus schemes and a flexible hours working policy and hybrid form home opportunities too. After an initial induction period learning the role a lot of this can and should be done from home.

Reporting into the Head of Regulations, the Regulatory Labelling Specialist will manage the artwork design, generation and approval process to ensure that all product labelling is fully compliant with the regulatory requirements of international countries. Key responsibilities include:
- Manages the implementation of new artwork components by liaising closely with production, production planning, warehouse, QA, finance or customers when necessary to ensure an efficient implementation while minimising wastage costs. To coordinate, monitor and consolidate the labelling requirements of various departments such as Regulatory Affairs, Logistics and Production Planning.
- Responsible for ensuring all product labelling meets all current regulatory requirements, internal process specifications and procedures.
- Proactively keeps abreast of new regulatory requirements and standards relating to product labelling and communicates these within the business.
- Contributes to regulatory strategies for new Hyaltech products and/or change projects to ensure labelling requirements and solutions are considered early in the Design Control process.
