ESS Recruit’s client, based in West Lothian is a manufacturer of bespoke industrial products and they are currently seeking a highly motivated Stores Person to join part of their growing Operations team.  This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to help drive growth in the manufacturing and operations activities.

You will be reporting to the Operations Director.  They are looking for someone who will fit their fast-paced culture to join the team on the next stage of their journey. You should be a hands-on, practical team player with an eye for detail and high-quality standards.
  
Duties:

• Pick works orders as directed by the planning team
• Receive and process all deliveries
• Manage Good-In inspections to maintain quality standards
• Packing & despatch of orders, including booking couriers
• Responsible for QHSE within the Stores Area
• Ensure Stores facilities are well organised and equipment is well maintained
• Attend daily planning meetings representing the Stores team and act as main
• planning contact point for stores
• Establish and maintain clear stores procedures  

You should have proven experience in a stores environment and with setting up a stores area.  You should have strong practical skills and an eye for detail with high standards.  You’ll need to be a self-starter with the ability to work alone and as part of a team and a willingness to learn and develop.  The expectation in this role is for someone capable of taking initiative and eventually moving up to working as a Stores Manager within the business.  Forklift experience would be beneficial, or training can be provided, and there is flexitime (working a 39 hour working week).
