This role will suit a range of candidates in terms of experience from second jobbers through to experienced engineers. It is likely that you are educated to HNC/HND/Degree or time served in an engineering, technical, computing science, automation or software discipline. We would be especially keen to hear from 3rd line / Enterprise level IT Network and support Engineers or Technicians, Technical Support Engineers / Specialists, Customer Support Engineers with a background in resolving software and networking issues or able to fault find and debug PLC and remote access controlled automation and instrumentation.
It is also key that you are comfortable working in an international environment, as it will be part of your role to facilitate the exchange of ideas, resources and knowledge by building strong formal and informal networks. Strong oral and written communication skills are taken as a given.
This represents an excellent opportunity for a hands on technical IT/automation/engineering support specialist to join a truly global giant. You will enjoy the variety of the role, the chance to solve real time issues and problems and make contacts the world over. A solid base salary £30-50,000 DOE is on offer for the right candidate plus a comprehensive benefits package including leading pension, generous holiday allowance and private healthcare.
Please note that only candidates able to work and live freely in the UK should apply to this role. We will accept candidates based remotely across the UK (two times monthly travel to Crawley expected) and for anyone closer to Crawley you can design a suitable hybrid work/life balance.
Please send your CV to our recruitment partner Katie Hydes at ESS Recruit.
